Why I will never go to assembly square lowells again
I decided I wanted to get out of the house, so greg and I went to see Spiderman 2 on the free passes we got from seeing Shrek 2 in vibrovision. This time we got to see the movie in music worblesound. It was weird, the dialog was unaffected, but the music was like someone playing it through old rotary speakers. I talked to an usher who had come to check the exits and she went and stopped the movie, but not to fix the sound, but because it was sproketted too tightly and was eventually going to break, or at least that's what she said.
I also for the first time been in a theater were someone's cell phone went off AND they felt the need to answer it and talk for a little while.
I like DVDs and the comfort of my own living room more and more.
EDIT: We go there, or at least used to, because it was close, had parking, didn't have to deal with Ting into down town and Fresh Pond is just as bad, plus once we were at Fresh Pond and had to wait inside the theater because there had been gun fire outside.
